Chino Otsuka's autobiographical diptych series explore the interior
of an abandoned flat on Tokyo housing estate, in which she
stages self-portraits.
The disassosiated self-portraits amidst derelict and
scant furnishings of the flat leave her frequently exposed and vulnerable.
